**COVID-19 UPDATE** We have now resumed deliveries to many international destinations and retail orders to Northern Ireland. Customers should note that there continues to be some postal disruption due to the pandemic and that postal and customs delays may occur. We are normally managing to dispatch orders five days of the week but at times of high demand or disruption orders may not go out on the day of receipt so please be patient.

Making A Purchase
To make a purchase simply browse our online catalogue and add any products you wish to purchase to your shopping cart; your cart will display the total amount of the goods you have ordered and will give you the opportunity to select your shipping destination from a box in order to display the appropriate rates of shipping. Once you have finished selecting the items that you wish to purchase click on "Checkout" to provide your contact details, choose your payment method and complete your order. With the exception of some bespoke options on some of our reel tuning products all items advertised in our store are held in stock and ready for dispatch. Should you order a quantity of any item that cannot be supplied this will be clearly marked in red in your shopping cart and you will be asked to adjust your order quantity of that item. Should we be unable to supply a stock item (for instance if we discover an item held is damaged and therefore not fit for sale) we will contact you to give you the option of cancelling any such items or placing them on back order. Should you wish to cancel the item we will refund you immediately, likewise you are legally entitled to cancel your order and receive a full refund. Any contract made with BlakDogtackle.com will be made under the jurisdiction of English Law.

Prices and Tax
Our prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling including 20% VAT (Sales Tax) but excluding postage costs. VAT will be removed from international orders and the correct totals will automatically be calculated by our Shopping Cart during the checkout process. We are happy to supply VAT invoices upon request (please email us or leave a note at checkout); our VAT registration number is 178315391.

Payment
We accept payment for UK and International orders via Nochex and Paypal; you can pay for your order using a credit or debit card without setting up an account with either merchant. Both Companies manage your credit / debit card details on their own site and they are not stored or held on BlakDogTackle.com's system at any time. We do not accept payments over the telephone, nor do we accept Personal Cheques or Postal Orders. In very exceptional circumstances, by prior agreement, we may accept Postal Orders made out to cash but please contact us first to arrange payments using this method.

International Orders
International shipping options to the countries listed below are available in our cart system however oversees customers should note that sales to oversees customers are deemed to be classed as a customer import in respect of customs regulations and as such import or other duties on the consignment may be levied by authorities in their own Country. These are the responsibility of the customer and WILL NOT be paid by BlakDogTackle.com. Local taxes (such as GST in Australia) will also NOT be added to your BlakDogTackle.com order so will be collected by the authorities of the destination country when your order passes through customs checks. Customers should remember to factor in these costs when placing an order. Likewise it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their chosen goods are acceptable for import into their own Country as the responsibility for any costs for treatment or special clearance will rest with the customer. BlakDogTackle.com will not be liable for any costs incurred should customers attempt to import goods which are subject to an import ban in their country. Free shipping offers are available to UK residents only.

Regrettably the additional administration and costs that would be incurred in EU trading are not viable for us at the moment though we will honour all warranties and guarentees in respect of our past EU orders. Please note that BlakDogTackle.com does not under any circumstance accept orders placed through a Freight Forwarding Company (sometimes known as a Postal Motel) for onward transfer to a location outside of the UK. Any such orders will be immediately cancelled and the purchase amount will be refunded less the non refundable fees BlakDogTackle.com have incurred in taking the order. As an anti-fraud measure we also reserve the right to refuse orders for dispatch to Post Office Boxes.

Orders to Northern Ireland are supplied strictly on a retail basis and VAT is charged in the normal way. Customers in Northern Ireland should be aware of their responsibility to declare goods received from the UK over a certain value threshold.

Currently we ship to the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Channel Islands, Chile, Falkland Islands, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, UK, USA and Uruguay.

Shipping and Handling
The bulk of our orders are dispatched via Royal Mail and are priced according to size, value and weight. Customers may choose their choice of shipping method from the list displayed during the checkout process. We do our very best to ensure that all orders placed before 2pm are dispatched the same day however we cannot guarantee delivery times due to inconsistencies in Royal Mail's delivery times. During the current Covid-19 pandemic there is likely to be variation in our postage times, cutoffs and schedules however we will do our very best to ensure as timely a service as is possible. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be dispatched on the next working day. Please note that BlakDogTackle.com is a mail order only company; we have no retail showroom and can only accept personal callers in very exceptional circumstances.

Free Shipping Offers
We currently offer Free Economy Shipping to UK destinations (including the Channel Islands and NI) on selected items when they are ordered individually. Should you add an item not covered with this offer free shipping will no longer be available. We also offer Free UK Economy Delivery on orders of £100 or more. This offer can be selected from the postage options at checkout but excludes those orders which include fishing weights, however should you wish to include a small number of weights in an order for other parts we may still provide free shipping at our discretion - please contact us prior to ordering in case of doubt.

Defective Goods / Lost or Damaged Orders
We want to ensure that our customers are happy with the products that we sell. Many of the products that we sell come with a manufacturers guarantee and any products found to be faulty upon receipt will be replaced immediately at our cost. Should any items become faulty during use please contact BlakDogTackle.com to discuss the options for repair under warranty or replacement; should you decide to accept a warranty repair on any item your statutory rights are not effected in any way. Should we require the return of a damaged item then BlakDogTackle.com will compensate you fully for the cost of return postage when we receive the item, so long as you use the cheapest available option.

If your order is dispatched and does not arrive we will refund you the full amount of your order, including postage and packing costs once the required waiting time (defined by Royal Mail) has passed. Currently UK items are declared officially lost by Royal Mail 15 working days after the due date of delivery in the case of First Class items and Standard Parcels and 10 working days in the case of Next Day deliveries. For International orders the waiting times are 20 working days for items to European destinations and 25 working days for items to Non-European International destinations; please note that these waiting times are set by the UK postal service and not BlakDogTackle.com and are therefore out of our control.

Should any items of your order be damaged in transit BlakDogTackle.com will replace, repair or refund those items without delay at our cost; we do ask that the customer provide us with sufficient evidence to make a damage claim from the postal service in these circumstances. We may also ask you to return the items to us in some cases. Please ensure that you supply the correct address details with your order and update your address in the members area when necessary as we are unable to refund customers for orders lost as a result of BlakDogTackle.com being supplied incorrect details by the customer.

Returns And Refunds
BlakDogTackle.com fully complies with the terms of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other applicable UK legislation. UK customers may cancel any order you have made prior to dispatch and will receive a full refund immediately. You may also return any item without explanation within fourteen days from the day you received the goods. We will refund the full cost of the item (including the cost of posting it to you) so long as they are unused, their original packaging is complete and undamaged and the item is in a sale-able condition. International customers may also cancel an order at any time before dispatch and receive a refund in full. They may also dispatch for return any item without explanation within fourteen days from the day after that on which you received the goods to receive a refund on the cost of the returned item or items. Please note that the outbound postage costs will not be refunded to non International customers.

To effect a return simply email or telephone us with the details of the item or items you wish to return (please include the order number when you do so) and then return them to us. You may also simply return goods including an explanatory note with the goods. The cost of return (inbound) postage costs on non-faulty items is the responsibility of the customer and the goods are the responsibility of the customer until they are safely received by us. We recommend that you use an insured postal service when returning goods as we cannot refund on return items that are lost in the post. Unfortunately we do not accept returns or offer refunds for personalised goods or goods made to the customer's specification unless these items are faulty. We may, at our discretion, process an exchange for some personalised goods.

Please Note: Tracked services will require a signature upon delivery. Royal Mail services can be collected from the local Post Office within their allotted time frame in the event that a signature cannot be obtained. Hermes couriers are occasionally used for orders including particular products and will attempt a delivery on three occasions only so please ensure that somebody will be available to receive the delivery. Hermes orders can be redirected to an alternative address or a specified safe place by the customer using the link on the Hermes tracking page. Please note that if an order is returned to us because it was undeliverable, an incorrect or incomplete address was supplied or was not collected from Royal Mail we reserve the right to charge a second delivery charge before resending the goods.
