If you have a small baitcaster with bearing retaining pin on the spool spindle this is a tool you simply can't do without. I allows you to force the pin out without the risk of causing damage with the jaws of pliers. To use you simply place the tool over the spindle, line it up with the retaining pin and then simply push the pin out by screwing in the shaft of the tool.

The tool has different diameters at each end, 1.4mm and 2.8mm, and works on most of the smaller baitcasters from various Companies. It has also been tested and works on the Daiwa 7HT Mag and the Mag ST.

The tool shaft is manufactured from stainless steel and the body from 7075 aluminium alloy.

Please note: This tool is not suitable for removing the pin on heavier reels (for example Daiwa Saltists) or where pins are fixed under high tension (such as on many of the fixed spool oscillation shafts).
