ABU Ambassadeur 4500 5500 6500 Right Side SS Captive Thumbscrews

A Stainless Steel Captive Thumbscrew Set to fit all ABU Ambassadeur 4500, 5500 and 6500 series reels. They are easy to fit and are perfect to tidy up a reel which has worn screw heads or peeling chrome on the screw set or if you just want to upgrade your reel.

The set comprises 3 screws for your gear-hand side plate. Simply remove the old set by crushing the inside of them carefully with a pair of pliers (allowing them to pass out of the holes in the side plate), place each new screw in it's respective side plate hole and splay the inside out with a splaying tool or phillips screwdriver until it will no longer drop out of the side plate.

These thumbscrews will also replace the new slot-headed thumbscrews that ABU fit to their gearbox side plates and give a much improved look and finish to your reel.
