Diamite Heavy Duty Rod Guides have been around for a long time and rightfully have a reputation for being tough and hard wearing. The centres are machined from solid stainless steel bar and are then hard chrome plated to give maximum wear resistance.  Although they do need more cleaning than some of the more modern designs of lined guides they are much better at withstanding knocks and bangs.
