A Tournament Centre Mag Brake Conversion Kit for Flat sided Abu 5500 and 6500 reels. This kit runs two 6mm x 3mm rare earth magnets which will provide all the stopping power you will ever need and requires the removal of the existing speed bush, click ratchet and white nylon cog on your reel.

The kit is simple to fit, although you will have to drill a 3mm hole in your sideplate to hold the brass locating pin if your reel does not already have a ratchet pin hole. The magnets wind off clockwise with approximately 4 turns from full on to full off and move approximately 1.5mm per turn of the knob. A very popular upgrade with many tournament casters.
